Employment and Economic Development Cluster

The municipality of Schaerbeek has developed a Plan for Employment based on two centers M-Village and La Lustrerie - and two employment centers.
The project "Pole of Employment" consists of bringing together these two Employment Houses by building a 340 m² extension. A total of 9 structures were installed in the building, including the Actiris antenna and a Werkwinkel (VDAB). The House of Employment also provides training.

FORESTHORECA

In Vorst, the Divercity project wants to come to a public space that serves community life. The challenge of the Neighborhood Contract is to make the place into a meeting place for people again.

The project has developed the following actions: a city park, the establishment of a HORECA vocational training center with an educational restaurant and the creation of a day care center with 36 places, as well as the creation of a day center for seniors, as well as classrooms, offices and caretakers' homes .

CENFORGIL/ LES ATELIERS DU MIDI : Training center

The Ateliers du Midi organize training courses in the fields of electricity, hospitality, administration, sports and animation. The extension of his site will allow him to train jobseekers in the fields of eco-construction, events and entertainment.

Job trainings in the field of ecological construction and new technologies.

Target : job seekers of the Brussels Capital Region lacking a certificate of higher secondary education.

ESPACE Hôtelier Bellevue

The Belvue Hotel: much more than an hotel!

The construction of the BELVUE hotel is located on the site of the former Bellevue breweries. This hotel is a totally innovative concept, as it is not only high-quality equipment for tourists, with a seminar room, but also a professional training room for professions in the hotel and the hospitality sector, with the effective support of the local Molenbeek mission.

Moreover, it is a passive building, laureate of the 'Be exemplary' competition organized by Brussels Environment.
