Espace Hôtelier Bellevue

The Belvue Hotel: much more than an hotel!

The construction of the BELVUE hotel is located on the site of the former Bellevue breweries. This hotel is a totally innovative concept, as it is not only high-quality equipment for tourists, with a seminar room, but also a professional training room for professions in the hotel and the hospitality sector, with the effective support of the local Molenbeek mission.

Moreover, it is a passive building, laureate of the ‘Be exemplary’ competition organized by Brussels Environment.

The hotel is a new attraction pole along the canal, strengthening connections between Molenbeek and the city center.

The Belvue Hotel and training

The renovation of part of the old malting has made the installation of the local Molenbeek Mission possible in the building.  The local Molenbeek Mission offers training in horeca sector. There is also a practical application room.

The theoretical courses are therefore implemented directly in the 29 rooms of the hotel. A ten-year concession binds the municipality of Molenbeek to a private hotelier. The hotelier undertakes to train and guide 29 trainees per year. Molenbeek’s local mission is a stakeholder in the project.

The ERDF has been involved in the construction and renovation of infrastructure.
