Programming projects FEDER 2014 – 2020

Living Labs Brussels Retrofit

The FEDER project ‘Living Labs Brussels Retrofit’ aims to promote the renovation of housing in Brussels by creating privileged spaces dedicated to experimentation and innovation.

These spaces, called “Living Labs”, are test environments where multidisciplinary consortia work together to develop, test and implement technological or organisational innovations that meet the challenges of the energy renovation of housing.  In the long term, these Living Labs should lead to innovative solutions that can be widely used on the renovation market in Brussels.

5 Living Labs were selected during the call of the project launched in September 2016.  From September 2017 to December 2021, each of these projects will work on the development of innovative processes and apply its research to a concrete renovation project.   You can follow the evolution, methodology and results of the Living Labs via the website.  Events and workshops will also be organised to inform and inspire the construction sector!
